I have bought a manual from this Tradebit seller, and I had the manual downloaded immediately after completing the Paypal transaction. I didn't find any free downloads, but Tradebit has both the service manual and the parts catalog. Instead you will have to use one of the Canon service tools, which I have linked to in post #2.Īs I collect Canon service manuals, I tried finding a service manual and parts catalog for the Pro 9000 MKII. Fortunately, I have another new sitting in the box, as backup.Īccording to this post, the old "button pushing" way of performing service mode operations doesn't work with the Pro 9000 MKII. Since they are out of manufacture, the supply is slowly decreasing. Kind of off the subject, I searched on Craigs List covering the whole Chicago Western area for 9000 Pro Mk ll printers, and only found 5 available. If someone has torn down their MK ll, I would appreciate any instructions or advice they may have. I was wondering if anyone has gotten the ink pad absorber flashing warning lights, and if so, (1) Is there a command sequence to reset and (2) has anyone torn down their printer to gain access to the pads? I don't anticipate my current printer needing this service for a while, but am trying to prepare myself for future need. It was not hard to disassemble the printer and gain access to the pad area. When I had my i9900, I did a successful removal and cleaning of the pads. I met the "ink absorber pads" in the bottom of the printer.
